Judge Mary Murphy

WELCOME
to the Elect Judge Mary Murphy for Court of Appeals site. It has been my honor and privilege to serve you in the 14th District Court since January 1, 2001. Justice Mark Whittington announced March 21, 2007 that he is not seeking re-election to the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas at Dallas, and I announced the same day that I am running for election to that open seat in the 2008 Republican Primary. The Court of Appeals for the Fifth District serves the counties of Collin, Dallas, Kaufman, Grayson, Hunt, and Rockwall.

This site shares information about me and my life and service and seeks your support. For more information about why I am running for the Court of Appeals and my specific background related to such service, see "News" on this site. You can also see what I am doing in the 14th District Court at my district court web site at www.judgemurphy.com.

Thank you so much for your consideration and, I hope, support.
